Make yourself at home, here at Weirton SDA.

Weirton Seventh-Day Adventist Church is a community of believers that believe in coming together to worship our Creator, loving each other, and setting aside time each week to rest in the assurance of God’s love.

What To Expect

Visiting on a Saturday Morning

It can be hard to walk into a new church.  Here’s what you can expect when you visit us.

We typically dress up, as we feel like we are honoring God when we do this.  When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our greeting team, who will share our weekly worship service bulletin.  You may here them greet you with “Happy Sabbath!,” which is our way of welcoming you and honoring this day of worship.

10:30 AM Bible Study (Sabbath School)

We call our Bible study classes Sabbath School beginning at 10:30 AM, when members of our congregation lead us out in discussion of the week’s lesson and of the Bible.

12:00 PM Worship Service

At 12:00 PM we move to the sanctuary for our worship service, which lasts around 1 hour. Our song service can vary between contemporary and hymns, which we follow with a message from our pastor.  Once we close, we enjoy taking time to visit and getting to know our guests. We would love to get to know you more.

Every so often we all stay for a potluck and enjoy good food together.  You don’t need to bring anything, we’d love for you to join us.  You may find that many of the meals are vegetarian – but don’t worry, they’re delicious!

Next Events

Can’t make it on Saturday morning? Looking for other opportunities to connect with fellow believers? We also hold weekly Bible Study meetings on Wednesday nights at 7pm.
